Trip to the Holy Land next February, 2013

posted Mar 16, 2012, 1:14 PM by Al Gallant

Area churches are combining resources to plan a trip to the Holy Land next February, 2013, during the school vacation week. Eight people from East Corinth are inviting other laity and clergy in the Upper Valley to join them for this once in a lifetime pilgrimage to the land of the Bible.
We will meet Sunday evening, March 18, at 5 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, Main Street, Bradford. Soup will be served. Bring either bread or a beverage. The meeting will end promptly at 6:30 PM to facilitate attending the Sunday night Lenten service at Piermont Congregational Church at 7 PM, in the Lenten series sponsored by the Bradford Interchurch Council.
The Rev. Mari Clark, pastor at Grace UMC, will introduce the time and share stories from her previous trip to the Holy Land. The Rev. Michael Caldwell, pastor of East Corinth Congregational United Church of Christ, will show a dvd from Educational Opportunities about the pilgrimage. Brochures will be available detailing the eight day trip and allaying concerns about safe traveling in Israel and Palestine.
All people from the area are welcome to join us. A question and answer period will conclude the time. If you are unable to get to this meeting but are interested in going on the trip, you may contact Rev Michael at pastor@eastcorinthcongregationalchurch.org.
