Rev. Dave Pruitt is from Lynn, MA, north of Boston and graduated from Gordon College and College Divinity School where he met his wife, Anna-Lisa. They were married in 1964 and have two sons and three grandchildren.

Dave was ordained as a Baptist minister and served a church in Providence, RI before teaching at Walpole High School in MA for almost 30 years.

He re-entered the ministry in 1997 and before coming to West Newbury has served Congregational Churches in Haverhill and Dalton, NH as well as Bradford, Newbury and Wells River, Vermont. He particularly enjoyed the occasions when he had filled in for Rev. Cindy Batten and both he and Anna-Lisa are grateful to have been called as West Newbury’s Pastor.
